What others say about:
Light On the Dark Side of God
“Here is the finest presentation of both sides of the ‘does God kill?’ issue, surveying all of the Biblical evidence in an impartial and competent manner… There is no attempt to circumvent plain Scripture evidence, yet the apparent contradictions are handled in the most thorough and reasonable way that I have as yet seen in print. [The author's] work is thought-provoking; she is a responsible and informed theologian; and she writes with an interesting flair. Nothing boring here, nor is the reader wearied by repetition. I would urge anyone interested in the command to ‘fear God and give glory to Him’ to get this book without delay.”
Robert J. Wieland
Writer/Theologian
“You have the unique ability to write about theological issues clearly, simply, and in a way that makes it sound interesting. Your theological writing does not plod — a feat that few writers are able to achieve… You have good ideas and you write with a very clear style… You have the unusual ability to put complex abstract ideas into simple language that the average person can understand, and I can’t tell you how hard we look for people who can do that.”

5.0 out of 5 stars This book needs more readers!
Here is a book which should have more readers. The author, M. M. Campbell, writes a book which shows that we can best understand the violent portrayals of God in the Old Testament and the concept of hell by looking at the love of Jesus on the cross.
Her basic argument is that God does not cause evil, but allows it by withdrawing Himself, and thereby allowing evil to run its course. And yet because God created a world where such evil is possible, He takes the blame for evil by describing Himself in Scripture as doing what He does not prevent
Truly, this is an insightful idea. I only wish that the author had spelled this idea out in more detail and had explained more of the tough texts of Scripture in light of her position.
“The message of God’s character is the most wonderful of ALL messages. It is the highest of ALL knowledge, and the most sublime, exalted, highest of ALL experiences. Praise God!”
Harold, Jamaica
“I have read several books on God’s character, and I like Light On the Dark Side of God best.”
Mary Butler
Friend of the Message
“This is an absolute paradigm shift in understanding about sin and about God… I am… settled in to the idea that God is the giver of life, that He is law abiding, keeps his own law, and does not kill — and, that sin is the only destroyer in all the universe.” Kathy, USA
“In Light On the Dark Side of God, [the author] not only convincingly exposes a loving, patient old testament God, but she has given us a method of Bible study that is a must for anyone who would honestly search the Scriptures.”
Janice Longpre
“You have done a very needful service for Christianity in writing in defense of the character of God. I do agree with your theology. We of other culture and language may sometimes find passages of Scripture which seem to portray a God in conflicting attributes. However, when seen as a whole, the Bible, in my opinion, is a harmonious and loving plea for man to accept restoration to his original estate and thereby escape the natural result of his own sin… destruction. Your book is well written, well researched, and factual. It is also interesting” Grace W.
“The author has gone to the true word of God to prove the true character of God. Never again dare we ask, ‘Why is God doing this to me.’ We must now put the blame for catastrophe and tragedy where it rightfully belongs. An exciting revelation. Well written.” Doris P.
“In my work, I review legal cases where litigants formulate arguments to defend their position in disputed matters. In reading Light On the Dark Side of God, I was surprised that the author has built a case for a non-destructive God that I believe would stand up in court. On a personal side, reading this book moved me. I now see God as consistently loving and gracious. Free-will has taken on new meaning. The book has impressed me that harmony with God’s will is the highest priority.”
Anita B.
“Why has it taken so long for someone to see God in this wonderful new way?”
Margaret R.
“M. M. Campbell gives a helping hand to the people of God, setting up a clear delimitation between the Creator God and Baal. Her book is a kind and fair invitation to re-evaluate present truth in the face of the agonizing cry of the Lord: 'My people do not know Me' . . . In the process, maybe we will become more understandable friends of an ever-compassionate Father.”
Gili Carstea, Romania
“M. M. Campbell is not only a talented writer, but her love of the truth and her heavenly Father shines in Light On the Dark Side of God. She is able to take scriptures that many of us have heard and paint a picture that should give all of us hope and pause. It takes real courage to go against the grain and share what you believe to be the truth, but that is exactly what the author does in this book. This is truly a book that Christians or anyone looking for the God of Love depicted in the Bible will appreciate.”

The Language of Heaven:
Unconquerable Power for your Life
"[The Language of Heaven] has had a powerful effect on my walk with the Lord. In laymen’s terms, I have gleaned tidbits of pure simple understanding about what God wants from us and what he provides. M. M. Campbell has confirmed the direction of my winding and often times difficult to find path, to God. Amazing!!"
Kathie (Kat) Gatfield
“The Language of Heaven is like no other exposition that I have known of how the God of heaven lives within us as we rest in His promises, thanking Him for his mercies no matter what our circumstances. We learn… how we become one with our Lord when we return his goodness with praise and thanksgiving for His control of every situation. With an abundance of Scripture to support this theme, I receive a portrait of our Creator that actually makes my heart sing in praise while establishing a relationship with Him that is closer than ever before. This is a work for everyone who desires to truly know what is meant by ‘Christ in you, the hope of glory’.”
Jan, Idaho
“Any work that leads and/or draws me to a clearer picture of the goodness, mercy and faithfulness of our Heavenly Father to His children (including the lost and yet to be found) will receive my whole hearted endorsement. Such is the work by M. M. Campbell in The Language of Heaven, a book that should grace every Christian’s library and those who are perhaps just considering [the] God of Christianity . . .
"I loved The Word before, but even more so now. I have come to experience His (Christ’s) deep and faithful love answering to my deep and self-protective feat on a much more profoundly personal level than ever before. (Ps. 42:6-8) What rest! What assurance! If I could afford to, I would give a copy of The Language of Heaven to everyone I know.”
Julie, Tennessee
“Everyone likes to feel as though they are understood. Not only that, but we also like to be able to find solutions to the problems we face in life. In The Language of Heaven, author M. M. Campbell helps us to use the Bible to not only identify the difficulties we face but understand what we can do to handle them. At the end of the day we are reminded that we really can’t control many of the events in our lives, but we can control the way we respond to them. This is a great read for those who are wanting real answers to the questions that keep many awake at night.”
